A lovely blogger, Daphne from lagreenvie, has tagged me on the snack tag. What a good idea! Since it has been a long time that I post something about food. And post giving birth last august, I have enjoyed eating like never before! Even before pregnant. I do try to eat healthy because I breast feed, but once in a while, momma has to have some fun and eat her guilty pleasure! Here are my answers to the Snack Tag.
The city of Bologna, in the Emilia-Romagna province, Italy, is the food heaven for gastronomers, foodies and common people like you and me who love to eat. One thing you have to do before departing to Bologna is: EMPTY your stomach! I mean… really! Just do not eat anything. Because once you are there your taste buds will be intrigued by the smell and the look of every dish. Here are my five best food you should not miss when in Bologna.
I made Lasagna today since I still have one package of ricotta in the fridge and all I can think of is Italian food. Ok, ok, Lasagna tastes better with béchamel sauce, but this time I make it with ricotta cheese. The basic of the red sauce is the Bolognese sauce as you know it. Lasagna is pretty heavy as a dish but it is as comforting as soul food should be. Want to know how to make one? This one is my version, practically based on the authentic recipe from Bologna.
